About Me

Hello and welcome! I am so glad you are here. My name is Christy Martin (or Christina to some past teachers and my parents) and I live in eastern North Carolina in Pink Hill!

I am a mom to two wonderful kids, one in high school and one who acts like he should be in high school. ;) We are a pretty active family but we always take time to laugh...sometimes at each other. Here are a few more fun facts about me!

  • I love to sing! During college I sang on scholarship for several churches.
  • I am a hard-core southern girl at heart; originally from Charleston, SC.
  • My favorite comfort food is shrimp and grits with a side of peach cobbler or decadent chocolate cake.
  • I absolutely despise washing dishes.
  • My favorite way to relax is with friends in the outdoors kayaking, hiking and fishing....or on the back of a horse. Now that we are back on the coast I can add "hanging at the beach"!
  • My dream is to be a mission photographer for local churches and organizations. I want to serve to document the different cultures and communities around the world and the moments that God brings our communities together.

My family and friends are super important to me. Through the unfortunate experience of tragic loss and memory care; I have learned that concrete tokens of memories past are priceless to us now. I look forward to meeting you; helping you to capture some of those precious moments that will be priceless memories for years to come.

Current mission efforts I am supporting include:

  • Kennedy Baptist Children's Home in Kinston, NC is a non profit ministry that offers cottage homes for vulnerable children in our state. They also have cottage homes for single moms, as well as assisting in foster care and foster to adopt services. For the month of June, 50% of family sessions and mini sessions will go to helping the Kennedy Home provide care and extra support outside normal care (like fun outings and treats).
  • New Dawn Ministries of Hope in Kenya Africa. For the month of July, 50% of all mini sessions will be donated directly to their mission to provide hope and assistance for the marginalized in Samburu. Please visit their website above for more information. Contact me today to book your mini session!
